About icons

Our icons are made on a wooden base, covered with several layers of varnish. This creates a perfectly smooth and wear-resistant surface. To make silver plated icon, we use a previously treated metal, which includes a layer of pure silver 999.95° obtained by the atomic process. This gives the precious metal a unique quality that surpasses traditional production. The Oklad, metal cover protecting an icon surface, is varnished, thus making the products wear and damage resistant. Riza has a partial "gilding", which keeps a bright shine for a long time. A full image of the icon is a silk screen digital print. An added layer of PVC protects it from moisture and ultraviolet radiation.
